About The Show

All my Vision

People sometimes ask me how I take such "lovely" pictures. I just laugh and tell them, "Just point the camera, and press the shutter."

I don't travel nearly as much as I did when I worked at a major pharmaceutical company in Philadelphia. The pictures I shot back then tended to be pretty cut and dry-some aspect of the drug industry. (make it look impressive) But whenever I got the chance, I would point the camera in other directions that caught my attention.

These images are from some trips I took this year. No longer did I need to photograph pill-making operations, now I could just enjoy the scenery and point the camera at things that caught my attention.

My vision tends to focus on details. Details can be close up, or they can be distant also. Details demand you to visually explore. They test your composing skills. They also tend to create a sense of mystery, because people sometimes don't recognize the subject because it appears abstracted.

The major venues on these trips were the Juneau, Alaska vicinity, Vieques, Puerto Rico, and Golden Aspen time in the Colorado Rockies.

Yep, that's all I did, "just pointed the camera, and pressed the shutter release."
